Dear Members of St. Andrew’s,
Thank you so much for your contributions to the Keeping the Promise campaign.
Your gifts are part of an investment to Lutheran Services for the Aging and the ministry that it will provide to our congregation’s seniors, their families, as well as many others in North Carolina for years to come. It is likely that your gifts will one day benefit someone you know. It is definitely true that many individuals and families whom you do not know will benefit from your willingness to keep the promise that was made 50 years ago by our North Carolina Synod.
To date, our congregation has generated unofficially about $47,000 in gifts and commitments to the Keeping the Promise effort. This will allow us to name a semi-private skilled room, as well as a private room at Lutheran Home-West.
To date, congregations in the North Carolina Synod have generated about $3,000,000 of the $5,000,000 goal in gifts and commitments.
You will be receiving an acknowledgement of your gift from the Lutheran Services for the Aging office in the near future. They will also send you periodic updates on the campaign progress and the improvements made possible through your generosity.
Thank you again for your partnership in this effort and for allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you in your decisions.
In Christ,
Committee for Keeping the Promise

Our Members have already made substantial commitments to the LSA campaign as we approach the time for our Dedication of Congregational Commitments next month. At present, several of our members like Oren Cline, pictured above, reside at Lutheran Home of Hickory; and Martha Powell, below, lives at the Lutheran Home West.
